Sony has launched a new portable flash drive that will be compatible for use with both USB-A connectors, along with USB-C ports.This might not come as the biggest news of the day, but for most struggling between older and new generation systems, these USB Type-C drives will be nothing short of godsend coming with a promise to make their lives a lot easier than before.

Logitech in the US yesterday launched the washable keyboard K310, but failed to give information on the global counterparts. Logitech India has confirmed that the product will be launched in the coming Month or two and will be priced slightly upwards from the US $ 39.99 price , at Rs. 2499.

SanDisk claims this is the world's fastest Micro SD card
SanDisk launched what it claims to be the world’s fastest Micro SD card, the Extreme Pro microSDHC line of storage add-ons for your smartphone or tablet. It has advertised speeds of 95MB/s read and 90MB/s write. The card is expected to be available by the third quarter of 2012 and in 8GB and 16GB capacities. The 8GB model will be priced at Rs. 2,599 while the 16GB model will be available for Rs. 4,699.

The USB Implementers Forum has confirmed at CES that tablets and smartphones will begin to get MicroUSB 3.0 ports end of 2012 and all throughout 2013. The port has raw speeds unto 5Gbps but portable devices will see maximum connectivity of 800 Megabits /sec.
