Please confirm whether it is accepted by the android market or not. Otherwise, it would just be a waste of some good cash.

It is a risky decision to  go for Spice spending  Rs.14,000 ,while you can get HTC Wildfire S in the same price range.

    So please guide us.
    Thank You.

it is distributed in many countries under many  names  like cherry magnum, sp 410 etc and in review he plays angry birds and other HD racing games
so it is supported by android market

Pls check high graphics  games and  can we play that game through hdmi cable on larger television screen

  • June 30, 2011 at 8:31 pm

Pls test some multi touch apps like Piano, some games etc, cause this phone has the same multi touch issue as the nexus one.

  • June 30, 2011 at 8:28 pm

Bharat  Nagpal :Please test some multitouch apps cause this phone has the same multi touch issue as the Nexus one.

I read on some forums that it can do pinch to zoom but complex actions cannot be performed. When two touch points are brought closer, they flip their axis.

I would request u to pls test the piano app and some games requiring multi touch (except pinch to zoom).

     @Bharat Nagpal :
Iam planning to buy this mobile next week, so i am waiting for ur review.

After a lot of research i found that this phone has the same multitouch issue that HTC desire has, i.e. it cannot perform comlex multitouch gestures required for gaming (The axes get flipped when brought closer). You can check on youtube and also google it. It can perform pinch to zoom properly.

So i would request u to test the multitouch using some apps and games.

    Hi Bharath

I follow your reviews regularly and find it worthy.  But, does this Spice MI410 is worthy of a phone in its category?  Features are lucrative but the results are still elusive.  Please give your verdict.

  • June 28, 2011 at 4:09 pm

my friends have  bought this phone , and trust me its not cheap by any standard let it be build quality or preformance .

and what u whinging about support spice mi 310 has cynogen mod 7 which is gingerbread .
and mi410 is already running on stock 2.3.4 via cherry mobile update .
while most phones stuck on 2.2 and 2.3.3 this is running on 2.3.4 .i seriously dont understand what u guys have to cry about .

PS: this has access to official market , decent visiblity out door because its an LCD and not an amoled . this phone is better than any phone in 18k and under and only true competetion to this phone imo is the nexus S which is 6 k more.

  • June 27, 2011 at 7:46 pm

great phone but needs os upgrade!

      June 29, 2011 at 5:56 pm

dude u can install 2.3.4 from the same phone just rebranded as magnum hd

  • June 27, 2011 at 5:55 pm

WOW! I just logged in to request for a Spice Mi-410 review and there you go. Spot On! Waiting eagerly for the review. Please do note that the price of this device is 14K at saholic (spice’s own store). So don’t mention it as 18K and spoil the fun. BTW, if possible compare it to Moto Defy (same price range) and Desire S (same specs)…

    June 27, 2011 at 4:20 pm

is it recognized by android market . if not it’s waste of money

  • June 27, 2011 at 12:23 pm

I wouldn’t lay my hands on it unless it is completely supported.
I already burnt my hands on the Spice Mi-310.

Spice Mi310 is not recognized by Android Market, and as a result, you cannot download most apps from the Market directly.

Spice simply hung up on the support. They said, they are not responsible for Android Market. What a joke?

There is no use spending 12-13k on hardware, and finding out you cannot get the software to run it.

I think it’s rebranded HUAWEI  IDEOS  X6.not a bad phone specswise but not worth the price tag either

These indian phones are seriously not worth the dough. They will never get updated, no dev base and lack of proper support. Get the nexus S for 20K, just 6K more, but totally worth it- SLCD screen, Pure Vanilla Gingerbread, and Samsung’s service (which i’m sure is better than spice). Don’t bother with the outdated 3GS.

LOL.. it’s funny how price drop in iphone 3gs is creating waves among some folks out there…

OK.. iphone is an iphone… but there are many pains carrying one around… no file transfers no sharing nothing!!!!

Still i guess, no one regrets buying an iphone is a fact… choice is yours… :)

Trust me iphone is truly an iphone, with all its perceived problem attached to it.  But the experience of its performance is overwhelming.  To put it simply, it works the way it is desiged unlike its competition.  Put your hands on any smart phone and you will see the difference why iPhone is still the trendsetter.  Apple is talking about iPhone5 and here we are a talking about the latest & the greatest from China/Korea compared against iPhone 3GS.  This itself shows how superior this product was 2 years back.
