Redmi, a Xiaomi subsidiary, offers devices that have historically focused at mid to low ranges. However, the philosophy has now changed with the introduction of the K20 series. The Redmi K20 and K20 Pro were launched in India on July 17th and till now were offered via flash sales. Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi unveiled its flagship grade smartphones in China in the month or May. Dubbed the K20 and K20 Pro, the handsets are packed with high-end specifications and carry a lucrative price tag. The two smartphones are highly anticipated in India and earlier this week, Xiaomi announced the devices will be unveiled on the 17th of July at an event which will be held in New Delhi.

Days before the official unveiling, the alleged prices of the flagship grade K20 Pro have leaked on Twitter. According to the source, the smartphone will be offered in four storage variants for which the prices are as follows:

In the month of May, Xiaomi launched the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro in China. Following the Chinese launch, the devices also made their way to Europe as the Mi 9T and the Mi 9T Pro. The India specific launch date of the smartphones have not been revealed yet, but this might change soon. 

To commemorate 5 years of Xiaomi’s presence in India, the company previously declared that it will launch 5 products in 5 upcoming weeks. Out of which, the first product was launched on the 25th of June in the form of Mi Beard Trimmer. The second product in the cue will be the Redmi 7A which will launch on the 4th of July.

Now, a senior Xiaomi executive has announced that both the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro will launch in India within the next six weeks.

Earlier this week, Xiaomi’s sub brand Redmi launched its highly anticipated flagship grade smartphone called the Redmi K20 Pro. The newly launched device is laden with praiseworthy features and is priced at a competitive price point. The device was originally launched in four storage variants which range from 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM to 8 GB RAM + 256 ROM.

However, the listing of the device on the mandatory Chinese website, TENAA claims the Redmi K20 Pro will also be available in another storage variant with higher RAM. Xiaomi is set to launch its latest flagship grade smartphone duo which includes the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro. Details about the features and specifications of the two devices have been leaked numerous times (1,2).
