Google Pixel 4 Will Have Radar Technology For Touch Less Operation
Google is bracing for the launch of its 2019 flagship smartphones which will be dubbed the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. In comparison to their predecessors, the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL; the future smartphones will be a big departure both in terms of design and features. The company had already shared the rear design of the smartphone that reveals a dual-camera setup. Although the images of Pixel 4’s front are yet to publicised, unofficial sources have revealed interesting findings of the smartphone. According to leaked screen protectors and unofficial renders, both devices in the lineup will have minimal bezels on all sides except for a lip on top of the display which is comparatively thicker.

Noteworthy, the thicker forehead (as seen in the images) on the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL is not just a design choice instead it features important components that will provide the smartphones with unique functionality. Moving from left to right, the tempered glass exhibits two holes which are likely to feature dual front cameras, an oval-shaped cutout that may house ambient light sensor, an earpiece cutout and finally a capsule-shaped slit which reportedly will hold the secret weapon on the future handsets.

It is alleged that the Google Pixel 4 smartphone duo will have a complex motion-detecting sensor which allows users to operate them without physically touching them. Perhaps, Google will make use of technologies and sensors that it had developed while working on Project Soli.

For readers who do not know, Project Soli is a gesture recognition technology that makes use of radio waves to determine the range, angle or velocity of objects nearby. A renowned leakster shared on Twitter, that Apple is possibly looking into a higher refresh rate screen for its 2020 iPhones. The tech giant is reportedly in talks with leading component suppliers including Samsung and LG who specialise in smartphone displays. Hence, the upcoming iPhone of the following year is likely to feature a display that can switch between 60hz and 120Hz. Notably, the new display could be akin to the 120Hz ProMotion display that is featured on the iPad Pro or employ a similar technology.

Indian Air Force Mobile Game Announced, Lead Resembles Wing Commander Abhinandan

Falling in line with the rapidly booming video game craze, the Indian Air Force has announced the IAF mobile game for Android and iOS platforms with a patriotic agenda. The official Twitter account of Indian Air Force has shared a short teaser that hints what to expect from the game which will be available for download soon.

Storyline and Gameplay

The teaser of the IAF mobile game initiates with a scene of a fighter pilot along with an aircfraft that seems to be the Russia made “MIG 21”. Coincidentally, the animated pilot in video game resembles ‘Abhinandad Varthaman’ Wing Commander of the Indian Indian Air Force. For readers who do not know the, the said Indian official was held captive for 60 hours in Pakistan after his aircraft was shot down in an aerial dogfight, earlier in 2019.

Speaking of gameplay, the IAF game has a wide variety of aerial vehicles including fighter jets, bomber planes and even helicopters. Tinder Skips Payments Via Play Store To Save 30 Percent On Commission

When it comes to dating applications, Tinder is one of the first names that cross one’s mind. The application was originally launched in the year 2012 and it has now become a global success. Although the app is free to download and use, a paid membership is also offered that adds several functionalities like an unlimited number of swipes, changing the location information and the ability to see whether a message has been read or not.

According to a latest piece of news, the company is making a massive transition in its default payment process that skips authentication via Google Pay.

Instead, the users will now be prompted to an external web link that will redirect incoming transfers via Tinder’s very own gateway. Noteworthy, once a user enters their credit card details into this gateway, their payment information is automatically stored with the company. Besides, this also removes the choice to switch back to Google Play for making any future purchases.

Nevertheless, a senior company executive who addressed the update has a justifiable reason behind this unforeseen change. Correspondingly, Google, that operates Play Store charges a mandatory 30 percent commission on every transaction that is made via its digital distribution service. Therefore, the platform is a huge moneymaker for the company and it rakes in billions of dollars in terms of revenue each year.

While Tinder going this path won’t affect Google in a radical manner, the profit margins of the former will rise significantly. Samsung One UI 2.0 With Fresh Features To Debut With Android Q

Samsung had unveiled the One UI in its developer’s conference back in the year 2018. The first iteration of the new interface was first seen in devices that ran the latest Android version, namely Android 9 Pie. It succeeds the Samsung Experience and TouchWiz UI which have found on devices since the early days. Now, fresh news has reported that Samsung’s One UI 2.0 will be launched alongside the release of Android Q.

Nova 5i Pro With Kirin 810 Thrashes Redmi K20 In Geekbench

Earlier this month, Xiaomi launched the Redmi K20 in India whose key highlighting features include the Snapdragon 730 SoC, Indisplay fingerprint scanner and a motorised popup camera. As it seemed, Xiaomi has outperformed all its competitors, the world’s second largest manufacturer, Huawei might have a wild card up its sleeve which holds the potential to steal the K20’s thunder.

Along with Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro, which were launched last month, Huawei was also expected to announce the Nova 5i Pro which was nowhere to be found. Earlier this week, the promotional material of the smartphone was leaked and now, its performance estimates have also been revealed in the form of Geekbench benchmark. Surprisinlgy, the Nova 5i Pro with the Kirin 810 has managed to surpass Redmi K20 with a substanial margin.

Moving ahead, the Nova 5i Pro has been listed on the mandatory certification website TENAA, that has unconvered all its specs allowing for a detailed spec comparison between the two mid range devices.

Moto One Action Specs Leaked, Features An Unconventionally Tall Display
Motorola is embracing the Android One program for its Moto One series of smartphone. The series was first launched with the stock Android back in 2018 with Motorola One and One Power. These devices have now been succeeded by the latest iteration in the series with the release of the Motorola One Vision. A report had previously surfaced online showcasing another One series handset which would also feature a 21:9 display and Exynos SoC similar to the One Vision. The device has now been confirmed to be Moto One Action.

A freshly registered listing of the smarpthone on the official Google Play Console and Android Enterprise has revealed its key specs.

Correspondingly, the Moto One Action is equipped with an Exynos 9609 SoC that is also found in the previously launched One Vision. The chipset is manufactured by Samsung and it paired with 4GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage. The online listings also reveal that the upcoming smartphone also features an unconventionally tall dispay with an aspect ratio of 21:9.

The Moto One action runs on the Android 9 Pie and is part of the Android One program. Therefore, it is guaranteed to get two major software updates (Android Q and R, in this case) and security updates up to three years. The device is powered by a 3,500mAh battery which is likely to support 15 W turbo charging which is staple on Moto smartphones.

Motorola One Vision

The main defining feature about the smartphone is its camera module. Moto One Action differentiates itself from the One Vision with its triple camera set up unlike the dual camera found in the latter. The additional new sensor on the One Action will be a wide angle lens which is being dubbed as the ‘Action Cam’. The selfie camera of the upcoming device is rumoured to be a 12.6MP sensor.

LG Trademarks A Slew Of Smartphones Including One Called The M10

LG was one of the first companies to launch a smartphone with the Android operating system. In the early years of the decade, the company had delivered praiseworthy handsets like the Optimus One, LG G2, LG Nexus 4 which were highly popular amongst users across the globe. However, as Chinese OEMs like Xiaomi, Oppo and Huawei started selling value for money devices at marginalised profits, long-settled companies like Sony, LG and HTC had to fall back.

Nevertheless, after devising new strategies, LG once again entered the budget and mid-range smartphone arena with the “W” series of smartphones that debuted in India last month.

Subsequently, LG is expected to launch a variety of new devices in its home country which will be a part of a brand new “M” lineup. ZTE’s Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Replica Has Dual Displays

ZTE is a multinational telecommunications equipment manufacturer which is based out of Shenzhen, China. Besides making networking equipment, it also manufactures Android smartphones. After receiving worthwhile success with the gaming-oriented Red Magic 3 which is sold under the company’s sub-brand, Nubia; it is developing another flagship-grade smartphone that has a nifty trick up its sleeve.

The said ZTE smartphone surprisingly looks very similar to the leaked renders of the Galaxy Note 10. However, instead of just one display on the latter, the ZTE device features dual display, out of which the primary, high screen to body ratio display is present on the front while a smaller, secondary display is present on the rear.

Noteworthy, the front of the ZTE smartphone is free from any kind of obstruction causing notch as seen on several other smartphones which usually house the front-facing camera. Hence the theory can be derived that the multi-camera setup present on the rear of the device will be used to capture images and videos from both the front and back. Previously, Vivo also launched a similar smartphone which is called the Nex Dual Display. Though the rear display on that device is much larger than ZTE’s upcoming smartphone.

The Redmi K20 Pro is the first flagship smartphone from the company. It has a 6.39 inch Super AMOLED display that has a resolution of 2340 x 1080 px. Key Specs Of Google Pixel 4 And Pixel 4 XL Revealed

Google is one of the most recognisable tech brands in the world. The company is popular for its search engine and since the last couple of years even smartphones. Google’s Pixel series initially took the world by storm and have always been highly awaited. A report claims that both Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will have slightly larger displays than their predecessors, the Pixel 3 series. The Pixel 4 reportedly features a display with resolution of 2280 x 1080px over the 2160 x 1080px found on the Pixel 3. Furthermore, the Pixel 3 XL has a 3040 x 1440px resolution, an increase from the 2960 x 1440px resolution found in the Pixel 3 XL’s display. The report also claims that both Google flagships will shipped with 6GB of RAM over the 4GB found in the previous years model. For storage, a 128GB option for internal storage is reportedly available for both Pixel 4 devices but other configurations are still a mystery. It is also unclear if higher RAM variants will be offered on either of the two Google smartphones or just the Pixel 4 XL.

Design

Previously, Google had confirmed the design of its upcoming Pixel 4 series by sharing its renderings online. A square camera module can be observed which house two image sensors; it would mark the first time any Pixel device will carry more than a single rear camera. However, the exact function of the secondary camera is yet to be revealed. Going by previously leaked renders, the front of the device will have negligible bezels and an in display fingerprint scanner.

After Red Magic 3, The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro Gets SD 855 Plus

Black Shark 2 has barely been in the market for 3 months, so by no means is it an outdated device. Hence, the Black Shark 2 Pro, for the most part, is likely to feature much of the same specs found in the standard variant.
