A system-wide update is now rolling out to groups of POCO F1 users who have the latest open beta available on their device. This feature will enable users to implement a darker colour palette in the system (including the menus, system backgrounds and notification bars) and apps which are compatible with dark mode.

Noteworthy, the MIUI global beta must bear the version number 10.9.3.25, otherwise the button for toggling the dark mode wouldn’t be visible. If users do not wish to update the UI, they can use the MI Flash tool to flash the update package on their device via an unlocked bootloader. It is advisable to take a backup of all the data on the device before updating the smartphone.
