Apple has introduced a new battery replacement program for some 13 inch non-Touch Bar MacBook Pro. Under this program, Apple would replace the batteries of these MacBook Pros for free.
According to Apple, there is an issue with a small number of MacBook Pros manufactured between October 2016 and October 2017. Apple notes that some non-Touch Bar MacBook Pros manufactured in the mentioned time frame have a faulty component which causes the battery to expand. The new MacBook Pros 2016 have gone on sale in India with a starting price tag of Rs. 129,900 for the 13 inch variant without the Touch Bar. The 13 inch Touch Bar equipped model will sell for Rs. 155,900 according to Apple India.
The new MacBook Pros have a 2560×1600 native resolution and sport the Skylake Intel chipsets.
