Leaked Renders Of Huawei P Smart Z Showcase 16MP Pop Up Selfie Camera

Chinese manufacturer Huawei was previously reported to be working on a smartphone which featured 4000 mAh battery and a 16MP selfie camera. The smartphone was speculated to be a midrange device, and recent leaks have confirmed all its specifications. Named as the Huawei P Smart Z, the handset features a pop-up mechanism that houses the aforementioned front camera.

The P Smart Z features a large 6.59 inch display with a FullHD+ resolution. The renders exhibit a device with a high screen-to-body ratio which is achieved due to the pop-up camera mechanism. Similar to Chinese competitors Oppo and Vivo, Huawei seems to be following the trend of a smartphone sans a notch. The leaks further state that its display panel has a resolution of 2340 x 1080 px and pixel density of 391 ppi.

Under the hood, the Huawei P Smart Z is kitted with the 14nm HiSilicon Kirin 710 chipset, which consists of an octa-core CPU and the Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. It packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM, which is further expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. It is powered by a huge 4,000 mAh battery. In terms of biometric security options, it has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Furthermore, Huawei has retained the 3.5mm headphone jack in the P Smart Z.

In terms of optics, the smartphone has a dual rear camera module, which consists of a 16MP (f/1.8) primary sensor and a second 2MP (f/2.4) sensor. As mentioned above, the pop-up mechanism houses the 16MP (f/2.0) selfie camera. The phone measures at 163.5 x 77.3 x 8.9 mm and weighs at 197 grams. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box, which will be topped off with EMUI (Huawei’s custom skin). As per the leaks, the Huawei P Smart Z will be priced at 279.90€ (~INR 21,600) at the time of launch. It will supposedly be available in three colour options: Black, Green and Blue.

Detailed Specs Of The Moto Z4 And Z4 Force Revealed Ahead Of Launch

Motorola is expected to launch two premium smartphones that are called the Moto Z4 and the Z4 Force which will succeed the Moto Z3 from the year 2018. Like previous handsets from the Moto Z lineup, the upcoming device will be compatible with Moto Mods revealed previously leaked renders. As stated their renders were previously leaked online, and now their specifications have also be shared on Twitter via a reliable leakster.

Moto Z4 and Z4 Force Features And Design

Both the Moto Z4 and Z4 Force have a lot of alike specifications with differences in the chipset, camera, battery capacity and storage variants. The smartphone duo sport a 6.4 inch OLED display on the front that has FHD+ resolution. Under the hood, the former packs the Snapdragon 675 SoC while the latter packs the Snapdragon 855 SoC. In terms of memory and storage, the more affordable Z4 has 6 GB of RAM which is combined with 128 GB of ROM. On the other hand, the beefed-up Moto Z4 force has 128 GB of ROM and 8 GB of RAM.

Both smartphones have an f/1.9 aperture equipped 24.8 MP selfie camera, while they have considerably different rear camera setup. The Z4 has a single 48 MP rear camera while its elder sibling, the Z4 force has triple camera setup which consists of a 48 MP + 13 MP + 8 MP sensor. Talking about the battery cell, the former has a 3632 mAh battery while the latter has 3230 mAh battery. For biometric security, they have an in-display fingerprint sensor which is slowly becoming an industry standard.

According to the past leak, the Z4 smartphone duo has a contemporary design with a high screen to body ratio display on the front that features a waterdrop notch up top which houses the selfie camera. The rear of the devices is the same as the current gen Moto Z3 which harbours the Motorola logo, circular camera module and Moto Mod attachment pins. The bottom the handsets are occupied by USB Type C port and the 3.5 mm audio jack while the top is occupied by SIM Card tray.

Samsung Galaxy M40 Leaked On Geekbench, To Feature The Snapdragon 675 SoC

Samsung introduced the Galaxy M series of smartphones back in the month of January this year. The devices which include the Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30, replaced the Galaxy On lineup and are the company’s online exclusive handsets. While Samsung has not confirmed another smartphone in the series, a new device, purported to be called the Galaxy M40 was certified on the Wi-Fi Alliance website a while ago. The alleged handset has now been spotted on performance benchmarking website Geekbench. This listing reveals new details about the Galaxy M40.

Galaxy M40

As is evident from the name, the Galaxy M40 will be the elder sibling to the Galaxy M30 and the most premium smartphone in the Galaxy M lineup. The listing on Geekbench reveals a device with the model number SM-M405F, which corroborates with previous leaks. It mentions the Galaxy M40 will run on the 6150 SoC. The aforementioned name is the code name of the 10nm Snapdragon 675 SoC which is also seen in the Redmi Note 7 Pro. According to the listing, the upcoming smartphone achieved a single core score of 2350 and a multi-core score of 6410, which is in line with what the processor is capable of scoring on the benchmarking platform. Notably, the chipset consists of an Octa-core CPU and the Adreno 612 GPU.

Galaxy M30

Unfortunately, the Geekbench listing doesn’t reveal anything about the design of the device. Like the Galaxy M30, the upcoming handset may sport a polycarbonate design with a gradient colour pattern on the back. It is expected to have a Super AMOLED display on the front. To maximise the screen real estate, an Infinity U style waterdrop notch may also be implemented on the top of the display. For biometrics and security, the handset may include an in-display fingerprint scanner with support for face unlock technology. In terms of optics, a triple rear camera is also expected in the handset like the Galaxy M30 and Galaxy A50.

Previous leaks of the Galaxy M40 confirm it will be powered by a massive 5000 mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. The listing on Geekbench reveals the smartphone will run on the latest OneUI on top of Android 9 Pie. This is surprising considering the previous entrants in the lineup featured Android 8 Oreo out of the box. In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy M40 will have support for Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac bands and Bluetooth 5.0 on board. Even though Samsung is yet to announce the launch date of the Galaxy M40, the recent leaks suggest its launch is imminent. The official price of the smartphone will be announced at the time of the launch, however, going by its features and placement in the lineup, it is likely to be a sub Rs. 20,000 handset.

OnePlus 7 Pro Official Renders Leak, Pre Orders Live In India
In a market previously dominated by brands like Samsung and Apple, OnePlus has made a strong footing for itself. Almost 5 years after the release of the first OnePlus smartphone, the company is gearing up to disrupt the flagship segment with the release of its new lineup, the OnePlus 7 series. The lineup is expected to include the OnePlus 7, the specced up OnePlus 7 Pro and supposedly a 5G variant of the same. Rumours regarding the specifications of the devices have been around for quite some time now. Ahead of the launch of the smartphones, official renders of the OnePlus 7 Pro have surfaced, which exhibit key features of the smartphone’s design, such as the triple camera and curved glass panel.

The renders showcase the company’s prized smartphone in all its glory. As per latest reports, the OnePlus 7 Pro will be available in three colour variants, Nebula Blue, Mirror Grey and (possibly) an Almond colour option. The elegant renders also exhibit the triple camera module on the back of the aforementioned device. The LED flash is placed below the camera module, and the device has the OnePlus branding at the bottom of the rear panel. Front renders of the smartphone depict a curved glass panel that tapers towards the edges. According to the source, the smartphone will have a 6.7-inch Optic AMOLED display with a resolution 3120 x 1440 px and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The OnePlus 7 Pro will use a pop-up camera mechanism, similar to the one seen in the Vivo V15 Pro. Regarding biometrics, it will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner along with the support for face unlock technology.

The OnePlus 7 Pro will run on the 7nm Snapdragon 855 SoC. The device was spotted on Chinese regulatory website TENAA which reveals it complete specifications.

The Pixel 3a Will Cost Half As Much As the Pixel 3, Retail Packaging Leaked

Google is likely to release the highly-anticipated Pixel 3a and the Pixel 3a XL smartphone duo at the Google I/O keynote on the 7th of May. A lot of rumours have already brought the devices out into the spotlight. They are expected to be Google’s first attempt to tap into the midrange smartphone segment, accrediting to which the price expectations for the devices are quite varied. Moto One Vision To Launch On The 15th Of May In Brazil
Motorola launched the Moto One Power smartphone in India last year. The device was an entrant in a completely new series of handsets by the company and was unveiled with an Android One certification. Smartphones that are Android One certified run a clean, stock build of Android and are guaranteed to receive major software updates for up to two years and security updates for at least three years. A known gadget tipster on Twitter has now revealed the launch date of the successor of the Moto One Power. Allegedly called the Moto One Vision, the smartphone has been leaked multiple times in the past. The device will be launched on the 15th of May in Brazil.

The Moto One Vision is expected to embody a new design language by Motorola. The renders of the smartphone were leaked previously which reveal it will have a glass sandwich design with a glossy back. The front of the device has a 6.2 inch IPS LCD display with minimal bezels on all sides, and a punch-hole cutout for the front camera on the top left of the display. The design on the front is reminiscent of the Honor View20 which was launched in the month of January this year. For biometrics and security, the Moto One Vision will have a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, housed in the Motorola batwing logo.

Under the hood, the Moto One Vision has been leaked to run on the 11nm Exynos 9610 SoC by Samsung. Notably, this is the same chipset that is kitted inside the Galaxy A50 which was announced in the month of February. In terms of optics, previous renders reveal it will have a dual rear camera setup consisting of an f/1.75 aperture equipped 48MP sensor; and a secondary 5MP depth sensor. For selfies, a 12MP sensor is expected to be housed in the punch-hole cutout on the top left of the display. For memory and storage, the device is expected to be available in the following variants:

The previously leaked FCC listing reveals that the Moto One Vision will have a 3500mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. As far as connectivity is concerned, the Moto One Vision is confirmed to support Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual band and NFC.

Latest Renders Reveal The Upcoming Moto Z4 In All Its Glory

Motorola, a renowned smartphone OEM, launched the first Moto Z smartphone back in the year 2016. Remarkably, the aforementioned smartphone lineup allows users to add certain functionalities with the help of additional accessories called Moto Mods. The functionality that a Moto Mod can add could range from external battery pack to a loudspeaker pack to even an optical zoom camera. It has been long anticipated that Google, the renowned American technology company will soon release two new smartphones. These devices allegedly called the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL are expected to be the company’s mid-range offerings. Redmi X Smartphone With Snapdragon 855 SoC Leaked In Press Renders

It has been leaked multiple times over the past few weeks that Redmi; a known smartphone OEM, will release a flagship device soon. While the details of the handset had been leaked previously, its design still remained shrouded in mystery. A famous gadget leaker on Twitter has now revealed what the upcoming flagship smartphone from Redmi; allegedly called the Redmi X will look like.

The upcoming Redmi X will be the first flagship smartphone by the Redmi brand since its inception. According to the leaked renders, it will sport a glass design on the front and the back with a metal chassis. Previous leaks revealed it will have a 6.39-inch display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 px. The device will have a pop-up camera mechanism, like the one seen in the Vivo V15 Pro to house the front-facing sensor in a bid to maximise the screen real estate. For biometric security and rapidly unlocking the handset, the images suggest it will feature an in display fingerprint scanner with support for face unlock technology.

Previous leaks further revealed the Redmi X flagship smartphone will run on the 7nm Snapdragon 855 SoC. The chipset consists of an Octa-core CPU and the Adreno 640 GPU. In terms of optics, the device will sport a triple rear camera setup, comprised of an f/1.8 aperture equipped 48 MP Sony IMX 586 sensor; a secondary f/2.4 aperture equipped 13 MP ultra-wide sensor, and a tertiary f/2.4 aperture equipped 8 MP telephoto sensor. For selfies, the handset will have an f/2.0 aperture equipped 32 MP front-facing camera housed in the popup mechanism on top of the display. In terms of memory and storage, the Redmi flagship may feature up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The upcoming flagship smartphone from Redmi is expected to launch in the following weeks. The wallpaper and previous leaks of the device hint it will be made in collaboration with the Avengers: Endgame movie which hit the theatres on April 26. It is thus expected to launch while the hype of the movie remains at its apex. As far as pricing is concerned, since Redmi is known for pricing its products aggressively, the handset is expected to be priced under the Rs. 30,000 mark in India.

Xiaomi Mi Band 4 Certified By NCC In Taiwan, Launch Imminent

Over the past few years, the market for smart wearables has been growing at a rapid pace. Chinese conglomerate, Xiaomi was one of the first companies to encash on the booming industry. The company launched its first activity tracker, the Mi Band in the year 2014 which was warmly welcomed by the consumers. After the success of the aforementioned device, the company launched two more fitness bands, the Mi Band 2 and the Mi Band 3 in the year 2016 and 2018 respectively. For quite some time, the company has been rumoured to launch yet another fitness band in the form of Mi Band 4. The former was previously certified on the mandatory Bluetooth SIG website which strengthened the claims of its presence.

The existence of the Mi Band 4 is now verified accrediting to its NCC Taiwan certification. The listing is sufficiently detailed to reveal the looks the features of the upcoming fitness band. Notably, in terms of looks, the device is not significantly different than its predecessor. However, the innards of the Mi Band 4 seem worthy of attention.

The fitness tracker looks like an elongated capsule with plastic on the front and bottom. The top of the device accommodates a small display and control button while its rear is occupied by charging pins and a heart rate sensor. The cross section of the Mi Band 4 exhibits the heart rate sensor in all its glory which is an appreciable feature considering it will be aggressively priced.

Pixel 3a, 3a XL Get Bluetooth Certification Ahead Of Official Launch

American technology giant Google is anticipated to launch two new smartphones in the month of May. These devices, alleged to be called the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will be the watered down variants of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL handsets launched last year. In the fresh development of the upcoming smartphones, they have been granted Bluetooth certification and have been listed on the official Bluetooth launch Studio website.

In terms of memory and storage, the devices are expected to have 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of onboard storage.

Past leaks suggest that both the smartphones in the Pixel 3a lineup will be powered by a 3000 mAh battery with support for fast charging. Like its elder siblings, they are expected to run on the current Android 9 Pie with a stock interface and will receive fast software updates. Sony PlayStation 5 May Feature 8K Gaming And Ray Tracing

Apple To Include 18W Charger, USB-C To Lightning Cable With 2019 iPhones

Apple is expected to launch three new iPhones in the month of September this year. These smartphones will be the successor to the iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max respectively that were launched last year. In the latest report by a Japanese blog, it is claimed the company will include new accessories with the upcoming iPhones. According to the source, all three smartphone variants will ship with an 18W charger and a USB Type-C to Lightning Cable in the box.

Apple has been providing the fast charging feature in its smartphones since the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X launched in the year 2017. However, the devices are not shipped with a fast charger and users must purchase it separately if they want to make use of the functionality. It was rumoured last year that Apple will bundle an 18W fast charger with the 2018 iPhones but the reports turned out to be false. But with the launch of the iPad Pro tablet late last year, Apple for the first time bundled an 18W fast charger along with it. Therefore, the company is expected to provide the aforementioned accessories with future iPhone models; which includes an 18W power adapter and a USB Type-C to lightning cable.

It has been anticipated that Apple, as it did with the 2018 iPad Pro, will switch to USB Type-C in its future iPhone models.
